I work at a bridal store and am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding, so hopefully my suggestions will be helpful. Bridesmaids are obviously excited for your wedding, but they do hope you choose a dress that is both flattering and re-wearable. If they have to spend $120+ on a dress, they want something they can wear again to the office party or another formal event.

Number one is gorgeous. Your bridesmaids will be able to wear it again, and since it is A-line, it will flatter all figures. Also, any plus-sized or large chested women in your bridal party will be thankful for the optional straps. I tried on number three and four last month for a friends wedding. They look incredibly cheap, especially number three. The ribbon and tulle are not good quality fabric. Also number two will not be popular with your bridesmaids. High-lows (dresses longer in the back and higher in the front) are never popular since they are horribly 80s. Number five screams bridesmaid, so your girls will most likely not ever wear it again, and it will not be incredibly flattering on someone with any areas that are less than fit since it is so form fitting. If you do choose number five, make sure all your girls have on a good pair of Spanx otherwise they will be feeling self-conscious all night.

If you are having a summer wedding, look for flowing, light fabrics, as they will breath in the warm weather and keep your girls comfortable. Also, a longer dress is more formal, and may be out of place if you are not having a super formal or outdoor wedding.

A couple other brands to consider looking at are Jessica McClintock and Jasmine Bridal. Both have great flowy summer dresses.

Best wishes on your upcoming wedding!

What does your dress look like?

I always think it looks very elegant when the bridesmaid dress has a similar line or silhouette to the wedding gown.

But in just looking at it, I like the first.

I'm not fond of the hi-low hemline of the second - but it is a pretty dress, the thrid is a bit "cute", the fourth buttercreme yellow seem a bit ordinary and maybe slightly dated, and the last one will not hide any figure flaws - panty lines - bra lace - etc, and if anything the shiny satin may highlight them!

I like No.1 and No.3.

I really am rooting for #1, it's the classiest, and it's the least tacky, i think it is really cute. With the little bow right under the chest, it will accentuate the girl's waistlines and be the most flattering on all sorts of body types. Stay away from the last one if you have any ladies on the larger side, it will definitely show bumps and lumps.

Congrats on your wedding hope everything goes perfect. I am a soon to be bride in August and am having similar problems. What I did was show the girls there choices and decided from there, but you at least need to narrow their choices. To many choices could cause a problem. I like dresses 2 and 5. It also depends on how your dress is maid and the type of wedding you are trying to have. At least narrow the choices to two for your girls to decide. They have to wear it. GOOD LUCK

OMG I LOVE Number 3. If I could pick mine all over again I would go with that. All the others are amazing too. I guess it depends on what suits the girl/girls (I am not a fan of number 2 but as I said if it suits them anything goes)

Good Luck

before everything Congratulations!! Your wedding ceremony gown is dazzling!!!! The bridesmaids outfits are darling too...yet they might desire to by no potential positioned on white. it is going to distract from the staggering thing approximately you and in spite of each and every little thing that's "YOUR DAY". it is going to be all approximately you and purely you. Like I mentioned the style is darling yet possibly you would be able to desire to take and characteristic them dyed or locate something comparable yet no longer white. the mushy babydoll gown would be my first %., however the silk mixture babydoll gown interior the yellow would greater efficient accessory you and your gown. better of effective fortune to you.

5 is nice if everyone is very tall and very slim. You have really restricted your choices with all the first ones being strapless. 4 is my second choice. A lot depends on what color you are choosing, too, and the body types of the girls.
