best friend let me embarass myself! HELP!!!!!!!?

my best friend was asked by this guy to find him a gf so she asked me if i would consider but she asked if i would go out with him i said yes so i thought i was going out with him but i wasnt and she let me tell everyone i knew that i was i three wayed her with another friend i was extra quiet and she confessed to her and told her not to tell me now she is trying to ask him out before i find out how do i handle this?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? HELP!!!!!!!!
