i feel like i love him but it's been a month and a half and my friends are telling me that it would be wierd to love him already, and they say he will get freaked out if i say it too soon.
but i think i will make it special and tell him on valentine's day...
what to do?...

Well, it depends on: 1. How old you both are? and 2. What kind of guy he is? If you are both adults then you should be in a place in your life where you could know when you are REALLY in love. If you are teenager, more than likely you don't even know what love is and def. don't know what it feels like. And if you have a sweet, sensitive caring guy that you think feels the same way about you, then there's nothing wrong with saying it first. More than likely he will tell you it back. But if you have a macho guy then he would prob. want to say it first.

Only YOU can decide if it was too soon. And by your reaction, it was too soon for you..which is COMPLETELY understandable. Nothing wrong with that. Do you "love" him in return..? If not, or you are unsure at this moment, then you need to speak up and let him know this. If he really cares about you, he WILL understand. If he does not, then thats not something you want to be mixed up in anyway. Not to mention the cheating on his past girlfriend.. A guys actions tell a lot about them, even their past ones.

There is sumthing wrong if u cant say i luv u part way through a relationship.
Just make a habit of saying it so they know how much u love them.
Try part of ur idea and say it on valentines day and then start saying it at random.

don't do it. it may be that as women we can fall in love at first sight but it is a weird and freaky thing to do for most guys. it's hard building up to that first kiss in the first month or even sex let alone someone saying they love you. i would say wait. if he's really your true love you will both know it but don't rush it you could ruin the moment and the relationship. we as women tend to over romanticize things too much. take it slow.

NO! A month and a half into the reationship is WAY to soon. Let him say it first then you know that it won't freak him out when you say it back. Get to know him better before you two say " I love you"

Don't let a Hallmark Day pressure you into saying something that you may not mean or will not be reciprocated. Try just telling him, "Happy Valentine's Day".
