She's almost 14, she has an slim, oval face, her eyes are exact 1 inch apart. She is very childish looking. Her hair is light brown, is at her sholders and fips out. She wants bangs, and in a different color. I'm alright with the bangs but I'd ratther her just get highlights. What color of highlights, and what kind of bangs. Any pictures would be helpful!

then go see a stylist and look thru their books, ask for advice, and get to know the person.

shop around at a few different salons and see how a stylist does her/his job. you don't have to rush out to the first salon and have the first stylist. take your and your daughter's time and talk it over and then decide. it is an important step in your daughter's liife. it's also a great way to enforce bonding and trust between you and her. enjoy it and have fun.

Well it depends on her style! If she is kinda preppy go with a layered cut that flips in towards her face. Try blonde highlights! But if she is kind of into rockish kind of stuff then try black or brown low lights! And for the hair cut try alot of layers!

blonde-ish highlights would be good. straight-across bangs will make her look a little more mature.
