I used to drink the long black coffee at the coffee shop at about 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon, then I couldn't sleep until 3 o'clock until in the morning. I drank a cup of tea, but I could n't get to sleep at about 1 o'clock. Why caffeine from the coffee last longer than caffeine from the tea in my body? They are both 100mg caffeine. How could I get rid of the coffee quickly before going to bed without taking pills?

I don't want to drink more water at night, because that will make me go to the toilet all night.

I am addicted to the caffeine in the morning and afternoon. If I don't drink caffeine, I won't be awake to read yahoo answer or my study at night.

Stop drinking it!!! Duh!!! Stick to caffeine free cola and you will stop poisoning yourself and your liver with caffeine,

Caffeine is worse for your liver than alcohol. If you have any, restrict it to one or two small cups of coffee/tea, etc. only early in the morning. No double mochas, etc. Doctors have told us our entire lives to have no more than one or two SMALL cups of coffee per day (uh....a SMALL cup is 5 oz, not 16 or 20)

Get rid of the caffeine in your day, not try to get rid of it "magically" at bedtime.

It takes 10 days to fully get the caffeine out of the body. Tea caffeine is a molecule called theobromine and it is not as strong as coffee caffeine. Start weaning yourself off the afternoon caffeine first. Try tea then. Eventually change your moning coffe to 1/2 and 1/2. They call it lite in the stores. I mix my own, flavored. You may get headaches from the withdrawl but treat the headaches and cut down.

Salt Water Cotton Ball Method THis method really works i do it all the time: So, get some cotton balls and a bowl. And fill the bowl with hot water half way and add salt into it so the salt can dissolve. and then add cold water so the water will become warm, make sure the water is salty becasue the key thing here is the salt. Afterwards you have made salt water. So now get the cotton swab and dip it in. And then put the cotton on ur pimple and leave it on for 5 minutes set a timer or something, It may sting just a tiny bit, but its fine. after 5 mintues you will see the pimple shrinking and starting to disappear. if still there you may need to do it several more times it varies on your pimple. Goodluck! it really does work!

coffe has more caffaine than tea. an average cup of coffe has about 100mg of caffaine in it. it is much less in a typical cup of tea. coffee has a half life of about 5 hours in your system and you're not going to 'get rid of it' by taking any kind of pills. a cup of coffee or tea at 3 oclock in the afternoon shouldn't keep you up at night. it may be due to other things ...like your sleep pattern, or state of mind. obviously, if you're having sleeping problems, you shuldn't have any caffaine (not just coffe or tea-also stuff like coke, pepsi, non-caffaine free soft drinks, chocolate etc.) 5 or 6 hours before sleep.

I'm not sure, but I'd say drink more water. It tends to flush stuff outta your body. Maybe give that a try.
