I can't help but wonder why in the world Jr thinks he has any claim or experience in running such a company. He's way out of line on this one.

I believe Dale Jr needs to go race under contract for a different owner. That way he can concentrate on the driving and the driving only!

I do not think Dale Jr would do well racing for his own team though. Driver/Owner combinations do not float well in the Cup series. Bill Elliott and Ricky Rudd were two big names that did that during the 90's. They got by with it because there wasn't as much competition during those days compared to now.

Bottom line is, Dale Jr is not on great terms with Teresa, so that is not going to create good results in the long run.

If Dale Jr does leave DEI, that team will go out of business within 2 years. Dale Jr is the only reason anyone even still knows what the three letters DEI stand for. I hate to say that because I believe Martin Truex Jr in the #1 DEI cars is actually a pretty good driver who will probably produce some good results in the future. But the only guy anyone wants to talk about is Dale Jr so there you go...

No, I think Dale Junior wants a stake in DEI and the way the other drivers are putting it (she does not show up at the races), it would not be a bad idea for Teresa to step aside and give Dale Jr that 51% ownership of the company because then it will show that at least 1 owner from DEI is at the track.

Has Teresa put dale jr. in a no win situation?

I don't think this is a no win situation. It seems to me Teresa is more interested in running the Legacy Foundation and keeping Sr's memory alive. ( I am all for this by the way!!) She can't keep the team running like it needs to be while she is running the foundation. I think it would be better to let her keep the foundation and the rights to Sr's likeness and turn over the racing stuff to those who actually want to be around it. Jr and Kelly could take DEI far if they were allowed to. With that said, they would also let Taylor Nicole and Kerry have part in what was built for Earnhardt's kids.

If Teresa loosed Jr. see will loose the company. Jr. is the reason for the second and third driver. If he leaves sponsors leave. If jr. leaves do you think the other drivers will stay after their contracts are up?

It's not HER company. Everyone knows Dale Sr. started it to give Dale Jr a good start in his racing career. It is his legacy to his son, her husband just let her be a part of it.

I think he has. If she don"t give him the 51% he wants then he will be jumping ship and well D.E.I will then become nothing but a museum . She loses him then what will she do? It's really not her company to lose. I mean think about it. I like Treux but he isn't really going to be a force to wreck with in Nextel Cup. She can't sit there and think she will be ok without Jr.

I dont think he has.Sr. left the entire Company and control of his Name and Likeness to her.How Jr. could put her in a no win situation is tough to say.She is the Owner of the team. All she has to do is say no and we are not willing to re-sign you to a new contract.I think Jr. is doing this so he can move to RCR.He probably thinks Teresa will laugh at his offer. He probably already has a deal with another team.

Teresa needs to be put in her place. There will be nothing but a DEI museum without Jr....
Jr. only wants and deserves what is rightfully his.....
