"At given horse, you do not watch the tooth to him."
By the state of wearing down of the set of teeth the age can be known an animal, in this case of a horse; for that reason it is practical common in the tratantes to watch the set of teeth to them to know the age and the state the animal.
This they will refrain it advises, therefore, not to pay attention to the defects that can have the gifts, on the contrary to welcome them willingly and criticizes the attitude of the people who, to the being benefitted with a gift or an attitude or fortuitous fact that she benefits to them, decide to look for negative aspects of the fact.

literally, "to a given horse, the tooth should not be seen/inspected" ok that's a bad translation. but literally but not exactly it means that when someone gives you a horse as a gift, you don't check its teeth to see if they are good. when someone gives you something out of their own goodness, you don't inspect it to see if it is worthy, you just accept it. it is rude to do otherwise.

EDIT
ok so my father tells me that people looked at a horse's teeth to determine their age. hope that helps. it's still the same concept. it is a given horse, don't check its teeth. ... you get it.

EDIT
oh man so i guess Prajnanan got it before me. yeah it's pretty much what he says.
