These kids that want to drink alcohol are going to get it .. period. They go to their friends' homes (where the parents do NOT care one bit), where the alcohol flows freely, where the parents keep it out and about (in the pantries and not locked up), where it is in the fridge and living room and every where else .. and where parents do provide it to their underage children (I would NEVER do that .. period!)
I, as a Long Term Single Parent, and one who still has grief from the fact that MY Grandfather was murdered by a Drunk Driver on my 5th Birthday .. NEVER have alcohol in my home .. and that was CLEAR ... I always emphasized to MY children that in NO case would alcohol be allowed in my home or around them or anything else WHILE they were on my property .. and if I caught them out at a friend's home (and they did get access to alcohol there) .. then that meant that NO LONGER would they be allowed over there, to socialize with that kid NOR have that kid at MY HOME ever again.
THAT is how the kids get alcohol.

Kids get beer and vodka from older kids or homeless people in search of a few bucks. They just give they homeless people like 5 dollars extra and ask them to buy beer for them. Also, i heard of this one girl having sex in exchange for beer. But it doesn't happen that much.

i am sure that your son has friend who are over 21 or there friends are over 21, but i can guarantee that you won't get that info outta him. and just because he can't get into your liqueur cabinet doesn't mean that the parents of his friends are that responsible to lock up their stuff.
