make heart-shaped sugar cookes or something for you friends and then get a pink tube of frosting for writing words (in the baking section u know what i mean) and write like "ur my best friend" and stuff, but then when u make his write "will u be my valentine?" or something like that, and if u dont think he'll get that (my bf wouldnt) then ask it as u hand it to him. i know it sounds hard, but once you work up the courage to say that when u hand him the cookie it will be easy, cuz hell be looking at the cookie. good luck!!!

So far there is nothing serious between you that calls for gold or jewelry so forget that.. now.. believe it or not.. guys eat chocolate too.. so a red heart with candy and a card that says he is special to you .. you can write 'sweets to the sweet' in it somehow.. will be a good gift and he's gonna have lots of sweet bites to savor and remember you. or if you don't have candy money.. a nice card.. tell him you think of him often and see if he sends a card back.. Do it now so he has time to get you a card.. :) good luck

You should tell him. The worst that can happen is being rejected. Unless he`s a real jerk, and says, "EWW!!" Then there is no reason you should be liking him.
Also, start showing some signs. Did he show any signs that he like you before?? Like saying real stupid stuff just to get your attention or start a conversation??
As for the gift, I seriously don`t know o.O

Get him a Valentine card and the pleasure of your company.
I guarantee this will make him happy!
He will not be expecting any more than that.
Unless you are rich!
In that case get him a new Hummer and a Rolex watch.
