"The rainbow comes and goes,
And lovely is the Rose.
The Moon doth with delight look 'round her
When the Skies are bare.
Waters on a starry Night
Are beautiful and fair.
And yet I know, where e'er I go
That there has passed away
A Glory from the Earth."

William Wordsworth

Song: Seasons Of Love Lyrics
COMPANY
Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,
Five-hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear.
Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes -
How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
In Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes -
How do you measure a year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love. Seasons of love.

Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes!
Five-hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan.
Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes -
How can you measure the life of a woman or man?

In truths that she learned
or in times that he cried.
In bridges he burned, or
the way that she died.

It’s time now to sing out, so the story never ends.
Let's celebrate remember a year in the life of friends.
Remember the love!
Remember the love!
Remember the love!
Measure in love.
Seasons of love!
Seasons of love.

Sorry to hear that you're looking for a quote under these circumstances. Not sure if you were looking for a Bible reference or just quotes, but here are some comforting Bible scriptures, whether for you or for someone else:

John 10:28: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice..."
(Promise that those who have died will come back to life is comforting and that someone's death is temporary; almost like they're just sleeping.)

Revelation 21:3,4 says: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
(God's promises that death will one day no longer exist and that he will remove our sadnesses - via no more tears - is also helpful.)

Quotes? Okay, keep in mind I'm Asatru. This one I find to be very close to my heart. (If you like you can adapt it to fit whatever religion you are.)

"In this world and the next,
In Asgard or Midgard,
In life and in death,
Together always,
Beyond all time and space -
You will always be remembered,
You will always be loved,
and You will always be our kin."

"Cattle die, kinsmen die, and you yourself shall die."
One thing I know which never dies - the memory of those who are truly loved.

Life is not measured in the years that you lived
But the love that you gave
And the things that you did.

This is a quote for someone who has not grown old

God Bless you

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
