Cat question?

i have a boy cat named simba. he sucks my finger and follows me everywhere. he is 2 years old. is this normal????

I don't know about sucking the finger, but following you everywhere is normal for some breeds. My cat does that. He doesn't just follow me all the time -- if he's awake, he wants to be held. Being near isn't enough. He's 13.

You might talk to a vet about whether or not a second cat to keep him company would make him feel less needy. Some breeds don't like to share their humans, but some are fine with other cats in the house.

He sounds very sweet.
