I am preparing for eternity the best way I can. You only get one shot at life, then you spend the rest of eternity in oblivion. So enjoy life, treat your fellow creatures as well as possible and treat religions like Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Mormonism with the contempt they deserve. They all contradict each other and themselves. An all-loving father doesn't stand idly by while his children murder each other. Whichever religion you believe in, the chances of you having picked the right one are very small, because they can't all be right.

I don't prepare for eternity today, because I'm too busy enjoying today and preparing for tommorrow. You are right, we can't prevent the day of our death, which is why we should enjoy each day that we are living. If some of what the church people told me is correct, I guess I will spend eternity in purgatory.

I will spend eternity as dust flying through the solar winds of the universe. I am well prepared for the journey.

Why spend your life preparing for death? IMO, that's a waste of life. I'll spend an eternity as matter - either dirt or dust.

Nothing to plan because eternity is going to be oblivion so you might as well concentrate on this life. Sorry to burst your bubble but this is the one and only life we have.

I am prepared for eternity. I get closer to death every second. I'll enjoy my plot in the ground.

Good question, I will die and decompose and provide fertilizer for a plant, then be eaten by an animal or organism and become fertilizer again. That pretty much repeats forever. I do know that the whole time I will live to annoy christians

While it can be argued whether or not eternity will continue without us, there is absolutely NO proof whatsoever that any part of you will continue with it. Besides, I doubt you can even conceptualize what eternity is!

You are in eternity. You have no choice but to live forever, and your job here is to enjoy this life you have been given and create it to be the best it can be.Without judgement, without fear. That is love.
