What country do you think has the most Military Power?

So which country? I just want to know what other people think....

It depends what you’re talking about when you talk about military power. The United States currently operates the worlds most advanced military (ahead by at least two generations). On the other hand the United States is tied up Iraq. Also it will take at least ten years for the military to rebuild its stockpiles of recourses, i.e. Munitions equipment etc. that it's spent in the Iraq conflict.

China has recently demonstrated that it has the ability to strike at satellites in orbit. Any country like the United States that relies on technology would be virtually blind if their satellites where destroyed. China also has the world’s largest army, 2.8 million people, and the third largest nuclear arsenal with approx. 400 warheads with a yield of 3-5 kilotons each, this doesn't seem like much when you compare it to the Unites States 5,735 active warheads. But a. China had the capacity to launch it's missiles at the United States and b. if you consider how much damage two atomic bombs can do (level two cities and kill 214,000 people) then the destructive power 400 missiles has is unimaginable.

Countries like the United Kingdom and Israel have taught us that overwhelming manpower and firepower aren't everything. Great Britain has one of the most effective Special Forces units in the world, the SAS with a hugely successful track record in the field. While operating a much smaller conventional force than many countries, Great Britain maintains its position as a military force through clandestine operation.

USA is the most military power in the world but unfortunately with no wisdom leadership to use this power for the interest of the international peace and progress of humanity.

Clearly the United States of America has the strongest military. That question is not even up for debate. America could beat the entire world at war with one hand tied behind its back.

The U.S Military has the best trained and the best equipment. but if you wonder about the numbers China would beat us. but the U.S is the only supper power becaues we put so much money into to are military equipment.

The best indicator is budget. Money pays for operations and training, buys equipments and compensates servicemen and women. Who spends the most on thier military? USA.

Most people would say the U.S,Alexander the Great once said ."I am not afraid of a army of Lions if they are led by a donkey."I am inclined to agree with Alexander.

China, they have 1.2 billion people ready to go to war if they need to, not to mention the fact they spend $40 billion a year on military spending, and unlike the states they aren't in a 25 trillion dollar debt (literally).

Im From England But china and russia are NOT the best its troops are not as trained as well as say US or UK

In terms of technology the US would probably be the best.
In manpower however, China and Russia would be well ahead
