Let’s say your girlfriend gives you a lottery ticket. You cash it in and discover that you have won $2.5 million. Should you give half to your girlfriend since she gave you the winning ticket? Should you continue to be with her since you won…? I mean now you have more money and can afford to take out a beautiful model or actress.

If you love her the money should not come between the two of you. Yes, you may have more money but, when it runs out who is going to be there for you? Guess who, your girlfriend.

Obviously the moral thing to do is to give her half of the money. If you want to be mean, dump her and hook up with a bunch of gold digging hoes.

The sad reality is that $2.5m is not all that much money these days. You can buy a really nice house and car, but then you are down to $1.5m. Of course in America you would probably have paid $750,000 in taxes. So really you are down to $750,000 left. Even with a good investment you are going to be living on $60,000 per year, which is hardly the kind of money a professional athlete is used to. It's certainly not going to impress the kind of women that you are talking about.
