How are you considered to be a bastard?

Um i've always been wondering how are you realy considered a Bastard. People have given me many meaning but i could never find a one that i understand help!!!!

it just means you dont have your father in your life... and he didnt want to be a part of your life.

im a BASTARD! lol.

A bastard is an illegitimate child.
Born out of wedlock and unclaimed by there father.
That's the exact meaning however that's not as bad today as it was in the past. Today there are many people who fit this description in modern times.
