No, having your hair thinned is not bad for your hair.My daughter has thick, naturally curly hair.It was very frizzy and she could not get a comb through it.I tried cream rinse but nothing worked.I took her to the hair dresser and she had her hair thinned out.It was alot easier to manage and it wasn't frizzy anymore. The woman who did her hair said that it should be done with scissors. Some hair dressers use a razor but a razor will only make it thicker.

You can get your hair thinned out with thinning shears--which are scissors that look like they have teeth like a comb. It does not damage your hair anymore than getting a whole hair cut. I would recommend that you do that, rather than cut it all off. And, you could probably do this at home yourself if you buy the thinning shears.

No way!
Getting it thinned is simply cutting more hair in the layers of hair underneath... For me, they use a special comb with a blade in it and lift up a top layer of hair and scratch away at the layers underneath.

No, both my daughter and I have very thick hair. Our stylist always thins our hair and it makes your hair lay right and makes it easier to style. You don't need a lot thinned out of it, just some well placed thinning works wonders.

in case you have your hair thinned you're able to be able to adventure split ends in direction of the size of your hair making it look undesirable. Get a pair of GHD's and straighten with those, you would be shocked how lots thickness/puff is lost!!!! (be certain you employ a warmth secure practices spray whenever you straighten)

No. My sons get their hair thinned by the barber all the time. It will get thick again so you have to keep doing it.
