I don't want to go during your summer as I can't stand the heat. Also, we don't want to go during your school holidays. So can you please tell me what the temperature is like, say in February/March... or October/ November and if this co-incides with any school Holidays.

The best time is to go in November, cause the Christmas stuff is all up, and it is truly magical. There is also rarely rain in Nov, though you might get some Santa Anna winds. You also have the Nightmare before Chrismas stuff in the haunted mansion which is awsome!!! However since it is not yet Dec. you really do avoid a lot of the crowd (there are always a billion people there, this cant be avoided!) As far as I can remember any week in Nov is okay acept the one where Thanksgiving falls, since the local college (CSUF) has that whole week off, and everyone else has at least half of it... you might want to avoid the sun-weds following it as well because you might have people who came in to town for thanksgiving and are making a vacation out of it. Regardless of when you go, make sure you take advantage of the mornings, cause you can go on more rides in the first 2 hours then you can any other time of the day... also take advantage of the FASTPASS system, its free, and quite handy. One good way to choose a date, is to look at Disneylands websight, and find the cheapest anual pass, only go on days that are not blocked out, those are the least crowded on average every year.

Late September is an excellent time to go. The weater is still warm (although possibly hot), and the crowds are way down. Chance of rain is nil.

October and November are also excellent times to go. About a week before Thanksgiving, however, the place gets very crowded. If you go around mid-November, that is one of the best times because the park is decorated for the holidays, the holiday parade and fireworks are going, and crowds are still very small. However, you might get some rain in November.

In January, right after New Years, crowds are way down as well. You can still catch the holiday decorations and parades until the first Sunday past New Years.

February and March are very nice, because spring comes early. However, this is when SoCal gets most of it's rain. On the plus side, if you don't mind rain, there are NO lines when it rains. People in SoCal aren't used to rain, so they don't go to Disneyland when it rains.

Once you get to Spring Break, the crowds arrive. You'll get a break between Spring Break and Memorial Day, but a lot of locals like to go during the weekend.

Obviously, avoid the summer months.

Have fun!

I would say for crowds, best time would be in February-least crowds. March is usually spring break somewhere if not in the immediate area of the park, so can be crowded. October and November are also good times as it is not crowded. November starts getting crowded towards Thanksgiving.

For weather, October is most likely the best weather. Although can be unseasonably warm at the time, but usually no rain and very mild.

We have had annual passes for 2 years and this seems to be the pattern. I would avoid March. January and February are great as there are few lines. We just went last 2 weeks and it was empty.

I just went last week and it was beautiful. But this time of year can be iffy as far as rain goes. Crowds were light, and as long as you avoid weekends and school holidays, you should be okay. February and March are usually mild months but October and November can be very warm. Check out Mouseplanet.com and ask your question there on the discussion board, there are a lot of "Disney" lovers that could answer your question. Have fun!

I agree with going during november, because of all the christmas decor, but, no matter what day of the week you go, expect to wait an hour to over an hour to get on a ride. I think thats for any time of the year. school holidays in LA/OC are going to be the same for pretty much the rest of the country, no matter what that place is always packed!!

Never come to Los ANgeles in February. Its our rain season. We could get a lot of rain in February since about 90% of our rain water comes at this time. In November, the Santa Ana winds kick up and the wind can be bad. Its chilly for the choices you choosed, but I'm an ANgeleno, so anything below 60's is cold. I would go in November though. . August/September, the Temperture is at its hottest.
