Yes. However, by taking this statement (which was mans interpretation, by the way, not some holy word spoken from some dude upstairs) at face value, this suggests we don't have free will. Although this would reinfore the belief presented to us by Scienctologists (which is that we have no free will as we are just composed by atoms, and H2O - we are all just some big science test).
A number of people struggle to believe that we can't have free will. And there aren't any definite guidlines, anyhow.
Can I just say: There is no proof that God is a man, a woman, an alien or any other life form. God is not a He, to put a gender on It would be to dishonour It.

PS 139, a beautiful Psalm. I wonder though it that is a reality or is it an exaggerated statement to express the care and love of God.
I am a Christian.

Precisely which is why I discount that we are just embryos or bundles of tissue in the womb. In God's eyes we are somebody with a soul. Amen! Thanks for the reference. I always used Jeremiah 1:5.

Since God is Omnicient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omnificent, etc. of course I know God knew me. But since I don't have God's qualities I also have free will. I can accept His gift or decide to go my own way.

Nowhere does it say in Ps. 139 that GOd knew anyone BEFORE they were formed in the womb?
You either have a poor translation , or ...?

Did you know that before I was formed in the womb I was sperm from my dad's testicles? God is an imaginary figure used for centuries to oppress people (christians) and convince them to spread hate throughout the world. I am hard pressed to find any sign that christianity is a benefit to mankind. The evil it spreads far outweighs any positives, and everything nice they do has a motive.

I prefer Psalm 82:6. It tells me I'm a god.
