Tiger Woods has said that he does not consider himself as a minority but just another golfer who tries to help all people. Everyone needs to get off this minority kick. We all are americans, we all have the chance to succeed.

I think Tiger did help change the American thinking about golf or is he giving a slap on its face ? In fact golf has been very popular all over the world many decades before Tiger come into the pictures.

His presence in the game at such a succesful level has made the game more accesible to minorities, and his Tiger Woods Learning Center helps all children especially minorities. This he did with his own money- something few athletes would do.

He didn't actually 'do' anything but 'win' when playing golf ... but this has had a 'good effect' on the 'minorities situation' because it 'shows us' that blacks and other minorities can 'do as well as or better than' 'whites' when playing golf ... or anything else.
