if a girl or guy is having sexual intercourse [ penetration of penis into vagina ] for the very first time then virginity is lost ! for the girls, whether the hymen break or not is never the 'hallmark' to determine one virginity simply because it could be broken during others activities such as sport !

Yup the same. If a guy gets in "there" she loses it, and if he gets in someone he loses it. Simple as that.
