Sorry, you can't have evolution and modesty or evolution and divine. Man can't create spirituality.

we wear clothes, because of sin. Adam and Eve felt shame for being naked after having sinned, so ever since humans have covered up themselves.

The question is, why aren't we furry.

There are, I believe, two current theories on this: During out development, at some point, we spent a lot of time in the water (which is why whales and other marine mammals lost their fur, too).

The other theory is that, without fur, fewer parasites -- which not only are expensive because they take blood, but they carry diseases.

It may have been that we started wearing clothes before we lost our fur, but, with the clothes, we didn't need the furriness, and since it's expensive to carry a burden of parasites, there was an advantage to not having fur.

Instead of just assuming evolution is wrong, why not learn about it first?

There's no reason you'd have to give up your god, just because evolution is true.

Actually, we aren't all naked, when you think about it. We have vestigial hair: thick and long hair on top of our heads (most of us), men have facial hair, we still have hair on certain parts of our bodies, and we have a very fine, short hair all over (like on our arms and legs).

But we have lost most of the hair our ancestors once had.

We lost most of our body hair because we didn't need it. Humans evolved on the plains of Africa - a mostly warm climate. And when we needed more warmth, we figured out how to use substitutes - animal skins, for example.

We're not all naked because we realize that clothes offer protection, utility, and a way to express ourselves. Do you think you could go through your whole day without using anything that you carry around in your pockets? Wallet, keys, money - can you exist if you had to carry all of that in your hands?

When they took the Knowledge that they were warn against they then could think and reason and the reasoned that they were naked. And that is why G-d new when they covered themselves that they had taken the knowledge he had warned them not to!

Now the created had knowledge and G-d kept them from also taking from the tree of life which would have made them immortals!Everything on this earth is made up from the earth and every creature has evolved its so simple to think of.

I love creation and i believe G-d created it all but it still took time!

Are you kidding? Man cannot create spirituality? Spirituality is a mindset, thus created by man. And, I see your thought on humans not having hair. But, as we evolved we created garments to protect us better than our hair. Over time, there was no need for hair. So, it decreased. Study ancient man, very hairy people. Try again.

Simple: We evolved in Africa. You will notice that many African peoples traditionally wear very few clothes, if any. In the places where we evolved, clothes would not have been necessary. Only when we moved to inhospitable climes like Europe did we need to develop clothes.

Europeans also tend to be much hairier than people from warmer climates. This is an example of natural selection in progress.

Consider the change in climate. Add to that mans nomadic nature.

As the earth warmed we lost the need of so much body hair. However in moving we found that at times we needed more hair. Since we couldn't grow it back fast enough we (man) reasoned that we could take the thick skin of animals to wrap up in.

As we went further along we realized we could make them fit better.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, really.

Evolution is taking mankind away from acting like an animal and evolving into something more divine. Clothing allows us to control our envirments, and to control our sexual tendencies (which animals don't). I guess ultimate evolution would be that we don't commit crimes against sexuality and that we no longer need clothes 'cas were mature enough to live without them.

*checking my chest*
I wouldn't say there's *lots* of hair, but, hey, there it is. How much hair should we have had, do you think? Not all animals have hair, only some mammals. If there's no reason for us to have a fur, it will eventually disappear, because the resources our bodies spend on fur will at some point be needed elsewhere (like a larger brain).

"We were clothes?" I thought all the anti-evolution people complained because we were monkeys. Are you assuming now that Darwin suggested we evolved from a pair of shorts or something?

Or did you mean "why do we wear clothes?"

If that's the case, I wear them because it's customary, and I like to have pockets for my keys and wallet.

And besides, under all the clothes, we are naked.

Uh, humans originally came from africa. Also, alot of animals use do things that keep them warm. Also, in order to evolve lots of hair, you have to have the gene for it. This is where people misunderstand evolution. If there is two sets of genes present and one is better, that is the one that is going to survive. Oh and quisidently, white people are hairy where it is cold than other populations such as africans, where it is hot.
