I have a really good friend that I want to include in my wedding but i already have my maid of honor and my bridesmaid asked and i'm not having anymore than that. I don't want to hurt her feelings b/c we have gotten closer over the past year. What other activities or places are there for my good friend?

You could make her your personal attendent.

Oh thats really hard. Why do you not want another bridesmaid? If it is so it matche the groomsmen, one of them could walk two women down the aisle. Your wedding should make you and your fiance happy, not everything has to be cookie cutter traditional. If you don't want to do that she could help you shop for your dress if you don't have it already, that would be really special. Or she could help you with other aspects of the wedding. But it isn't the same as being a bridesmaid...I don't really know of a way to equally include her without having her be one.

Well this may actually be more of an insult to her than an honor but there is always ushers. She could be a greeter too a person who asks people to sign the guest book etc. That is really a hard one. Is there a reason why you would not more than one bridesmaid?

Can she sing or play an instrument? You could have her do a special song. Can she style hair or do makeup? She could be there with you as you get ready and help you out with hair or makeup. If you want to have some special scripture, verses, or poetry read she could do that. Also, if you are having a cake reception, you will need someone to cut and serve cake and punch. Also a greeter is a good idea, too. Hope that helps! : )

You can have as many bride's maids as you want! Add one dress to the shopping list.
For that matter, you can also have one or more Maid's of Honor. It is your wedding. Do what makes it work well for you.

Have her do a reading in the ceremony. It will spotlight her and let her know how much she means to you. Best Wishes.
