I HAVE A TEXAS INSTRUMENT TI-83 PLUS. WHEN I PRESS TAN --
60) and ENTER i get the wrong answer instead of 1.7320508. why is this malfunction occuring. does the calculator have a degree mode that has to be tuned on first or what?if it does where is it?

You have to change it from radian to degree by pressing the MODE key, then highlight degree and press enter.

TRY CLEARING OR RESET UR CALCULATOR TO NORMAL MODE
AND TRY AGAIN
OR PRESS RESET BUTTON ON SIDE OR BACK OF UR CALC
