Last night I really beat my brother in law up bad. Knocked out one of his front teeth. He had to go to the hospital with a concussion. He was bleeding pretty bad too. He is a smart ***, and always talking trash. Well, last night I had had enough. My wife took him to the emergency room and has not come home yet. What can I get her for Valentines day to make her forget what I did to her brother?

She won't forget, you screwed up! I would buy her all kinds of flowers and cards though.. If you don't, she will be even more mad at you. Honestly.. you might want to show her how much you are sorry and get yourself some kind of anger management therapy. good luck!

Well if your not in Jail ,which chances are you will be she will not forgive too easily.Unless your wife thinks her brother deserved a beating she will be too upset to even care about Valentines Day.Women are not that stupid anymore. My suggestion to you is tell her how sorry you are and things got way out of control, and it won;t happen again. You should be at the hospital right know making sure everything is alright, not on the computer asking for advise.Go and be with your wife right now!!

I beat her brother up...
Gave him a concussion...
He was taken to the emergency room...

And you want to know what you can get her for Valentines Day to WHAT? Make her forget you hospitalized him?

I pretty sure you'll have to get her a lobotomy. And while you're at the hospital getting that done you might check on some anger management for youself!!!!

Holy smoke. Make her forget....that's funny

She will not ever forget what you did to her brother, buying her something will not make her forget anything.

However, you should still get her something for valentines, but you should also write her a thoughtful letter in which you explain your feelings regarding the beating of her brother.

I don't know if the guy deserved it or not, but he probably didnt. You need to tell her that you are aware that you did something wrong and that it will never happen again.

If you start blaming her brother she will not forgive you, you need to take responsibility for what you did and maybe even tell her that you are willing to take some anger management classes.

If you tell her that she will know that you are willing to change for the better, i think that is what she needs to know in order to forgive you

let us know how it goes

Man....trouble is an understatement. Try giving her an envelope containing 1. A blank check for the Hospital and Dentist bills. 2. Bail money to get you out of jail when he files assault charges against you. 3. A note explaining that you realize, violence doesn't solve anything and you will use intellect to perform attitude adjustments in the future, IF there is one for you.

Good luck, just keep this incident in mind next time someone gets under your skin. One punch can change your life. Not many people are worth the risk. Now..if someone attacks you....take them out by any means possible.

Even though the guy probably deserved it, its going to take a lot of doing to get her to forget and she won't for a while. It will make her brother think twice to talk trash to you again. As for your wife, you really have to tell her how sorry you are and what can you do that will make her feel better. perhaps if you appologise to the brother this may help but he will probably never do it again. so you will have to applogize and talk to the wife and tell her you didn't mean to get that voilent. It may of really scared your wife. Take care Heather

Try hypnosis. If that doesn't work be sure to have cable company block channel that shows Jerry Springer Show.
Getting her something for Valentines won't change the fact that you beat up her brother. Just apologize to both of them and try not to do it again.

She'll never forget but you can hope she'll forgive. I think that a start would be for you to apologize to her and show her your concern for her brother. Anything from the heart to her would help. Think of anything she may have said she liked in passing, but by all means stay away from anything cleaning or cooking related! It really is the thought that counts.

Forget the Valentines present, you need to apologize to her brother. If you are lucky, he won't have you arrested. In my opinion that's what he should do. Then maybe you will be in jail for Valentine's Day.

First of all..violence never solved anything! Second...will your wife actually forgive you for beating her brother with a Valentines gift? You all need some counseling!
