The meaning of life
Life is a value. If it weren’t, we would all commit suicide. The benefit of living is not for what will happen after we die. Rather, it is for the benefit of what may happen in the next minute, hour, month or years.
One can choose to want to live morally or immorally. To live morally one must follow logical reasoning. To live immorally, one does not have to make mental efforts. Faith and desires are emotions that often confuse us. To choose emotions as a guide for moral living is a terrible mistake. Only reason can guide us because only reason is the source of happiness. Happiness is what we feel when we accomplish something without logical contradictions and without causing pain.
The meaning of our life is in the quality of life itself. We do not ask the meaning of life when we are happy, only when we suffer or ponder on our unfulfilled wishes.
If we live enslaved by a dictator, for example, whether a human or an angry and unjust God, we can’t be happy. If we feel used as pawns on a chess board, victims of someone’s power and whim, abused, or condemned to a life of labor for the sake of others, poor, sick, and oppressed, the quality of our life can be so bad that we may prefer death to life.
But if we are lucky to be born in a world where logical reasoning (not faith) has created a society which protects individual rights, if we have the freedom and ability to create and improve our life for our own sake, our life takes on enormous meaning.
In life we see the opportunity to do phenomenal things, all dictated by logical reasoning. We can pursue medicine to cure diseases; we can study physics, biology, astronomy, to understand reality; we can invent, compose music, write, we can be productive and enjoy the fruits of our productivity. Human inventiveness and productivity are the cures for poverty and suffering. To choose the profession that suites our natural tendencies is the key to success and happiness. This is the meaning of life.
This is a moral philosophy because it distinguishes values in two kinds: good or bad for living. Everything that helps us to live or improve our life is good; everything that impedes living or creates suffering is evil.
Since every action we take inevitably depends on our moral code – every action is either directed to help us live without conflict or to create conflict in our life – logical reasoning is required to guide our actions. We can choose to live by defrauding others, for example, instead of being productive and work for a paycheck. Getting what we need to live by defrauding others may seem easier, tempting, and attractive. But if one thinks about this choice of living, one would soon realize that he must be prepared to live with conflict, both logical and physical.
To live by fraud has the logical consequence that we must always pretend and lie about reality and about who we are. We must put our energy and skill in learning to hide behind appearances. The punishment for following this moral code is living in permanent fear of being discovered and the loss of trust if we are discovered. By having to pretend to be what we are not, all our relationships throughout all our life are equally false. This is how we sabotage the very possibility of being happy in life.
To be happy is to be truthful to oneself and to others so that when we accomplish something we can be proud of who we are. This is what a rational moral code provides. Faith, which is an emotion like desire, cannot yield a rational moral code which is practical for living happily. To know the significance of life one must know how to live rationally.

There is no meaning. It just is.
The meaning is what you put into it.
What is the meaning of a worm's life? What is the meaning of a monkey's life, or a dog's or a bird's?
People will start to see the light when they see we are no better or worse, we just are, on the same level and respect, alive and have the right to live just like everything else and experience universal consciousness.
Simply stated: the meaning of life is to live. period.

Meaning of life, sorry love there isn´t one, the human race are the only species on the planet to have the unfortunate luck of being able to think up this question. there´s no meaning, just do whatever takes your fancy and try to enjoy it while it lasts. leave procreation to those that want to ensure the survival of the species, every single species on Earth just reproduces because primal instict, and evolution demand it, with that in mind I suppose you could say that the meaning of life is to be part of a chain of diversity that will one day result in another evolutionary step.

I think the meaning of life is different to each of us.
I like the meaning is to just live, and get as much out of it as you can because you only have one life.

You were created by God, for God - to glorify Him
For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord
Plans for good and not for evil
Plans to give you a future and a hope.

The meaning of life is to have a relationship with God worshipping and serving him. Without God, life is meaningless. You go on about your life trying to please yourself and then when you die you get punished.
Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. 33But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven -Matthew 10:32

I think that some people believe its to have kids. I don't really agree. You can be happy (and a lot richer, not as stressed) if you don't choose to have them!
