Check out hobbies. Try playing an instrument. Write out some poetry. Draw. Read.
The easiest way to find your muse is to explore things that you have secretly always had a passion of. For instance, I was a little kid always into space and the cosmos. At the age of 7 I knew what a quasar was and my parents thought I was speaking a foreign language.
Find your passion, find your muse. Simple.

You say not to mention the very one that you are searching for.
Every one has a God shaped vacuum, and you will not feel complete unless you embrace Him as your Lord and Saviour.
You were born by God for God, so you can search the whole world over, and not fill that gap. Its only faith in Jesus Christ can fill that void.
