Sigh...here is the problem. Just found out my 8 year daughter been viewing porn..very hard core. and I just found out that her 10 year male cousin been having"sex" under the blankets in her bedroom..tjhis been on gonig for the last few days. she is to shy to tell us where he been toching her, but he has been. Want to call the authorities but to scared CPS will take her away and get us in trouble for this. what should I do?

Knowing and not taking action will be viewed as neglect. Tell the authorities and get this kid some help! Your daughter need counseling it may seem like she is okay in some aspects but it will manifest in different ways i.e. the porn. As she gets older she could become more of a sexual deviant get help, it's best for both of them chances are the cousin has been molested. Children are too innocent to act out in such ways they just don't have knowledge of such things unless these things are revealed to them. It's tough but you have to do what's best for them.

I cant believe you dont want to call the authorities are you stupid? That makes me really wonder what else is going on in your home/? Not to be rude but as if you didnt realize all this was going on!! pay attention dad !! what were you too busy with that you had no clue about all of this. You really should call someone and get help if not for you then do it for your daughter!

Does this cousin live with you? Maybe you should keep him away from her. Why would they take your daughter away if you're not the one doing wrong? Your phone book should have a child abuse hotline you can call. You have to do something before it gets worse and affects your little princess permanently. Good luck. Follow your gut.

first things first your childs cousent is to have no contact with her for a while,viewing porn thats a question of how the hell are two small children getting their hands on porn an adult needs to be held responcable for that!You need to take your daughter to her doctor for a sex abuse physical exzam to see if it was just touching or penatration and to make sure she is not physicaly injured by this sistuation.Your first consurn is you child then your nephew.After you have her checked out by your doc ask him for a referal to a child theripest she will need councling to deal with this or it may haunt her for the rest of her life.You have nothing to fear from cps in a sistuation where you are responcable as a parent IE take her to the doctor thein to theripist .For your nephiew you need to address his mom and dad with the issue.I would venture this may be just a innisoant care of playing doctor but the issue of porn make it less so.Gagaing on you nephews parents reaction you shuld be able to judge if cps shuld be called.Some times familys can handel their own problem with out cps cervices.Sometimes cps can just make things worse for the children involved.

well if you don't call the authorities i am going to have to say that you aren't looking out for the best interest of the child and you should be in jail for child endangerment. be a father and stand up for your daughters rights. you all need therapy

CPS will take her if you DON"T call the police. If you do something they won't get involved. At least I hope they don't.

the cousin needs help, you are the adult and the responsible one. They wont take your child.But she will be interviewed by police and councilors. Be there for her. do what is right

so has he been rapping her or did she want to? unless it was rap then call the cops and dont punish her but if she wanted to then I think u should ground her to her room with no tv,computer,or video games for 1 week and she can only come out to go to the bathroom, go to school, eat also she can come out for 1 hour a day for whatever but she cant leave the house. unless it was rap then call the cops and dont punish her
