My three month old little cousin just died and her funeral was yesterday and I wasn't able to go because I'm overseas right now but I want to send a card but I don't know exactly what to write in it other than I'm sorry for their loss. I was wondering if anybody can maybe give me some beautiful inspirational comforting words or ideas to write to her parents? Anybody have experience with writing sympathy cards for an infants death?

It is always best to stick with just what you said, something to the effect of 'I am sorry for your loss'. In addition you might add your telephone number and times that you may be reached if they need a comforting ear, if indeed you are able to do that.

Other than that there is nothing more one can say. If you have been through this i am sure you would agree with me that is all you would care to hear from your loved ones while going through this loss, is that they are sorry and that they are there for you.

i am so so sorry for your loss and your families loss. i can't really tell you what to write because it would mean more coming from you heart. just start out by saying sorry to hear of your loss and go from there. sorry i couldn't help you more.

on a side note. thank you for serving our country. we need more people like you. it is because of people like you that we have the very feedoms that we have today. you are truly an inspiration to us all. hang in there, never give up, hopefully everyone will be home soon. stay safe. good luck.

You left me at a loss for words. That is so sad. I would just write what you feel in your heart. To me, that would be more meaningful. Our friends son died in an awful accident this past summer( He was on his bicycle and got hit by an semi) We felt the same way,... its so hard to say anything at such an awful time. I'm really sorry for your families loss.

ya know my advice is to just write in the card how you feel, if your sorry you feel really bad, ect. the best sympathy cards are sent from the heart, not from people that you dont know. take your time, and find some really good things to say, some happy and sad, mix it up a lil bit. good luck and im sorry for your loss.

my mom went to a funeral for a 3 month baby girl it was for our neighbors neice do u know the ingrassia's. well i'm really srry to hear about that. i would not send anything or send something right away because the parents are probably really really sad right now and they just want to be happy again and make the pain go away so don't wait to long when they start to get over it because they will always be scared with that pain

Sorry to hear about such a sad loss. Hmm....do your relatives share a particular faith that you do as well? (i.e. encouraging quotes from the bible) A nice (simple) poem perhaps. Important thing is just to show them you love them and are thinking of them in their time of need.

thats terrible, but try and not sound to full of sorrow i know how hard it can be, but it will just make them feel worse than they already do. send your thoughts and prayers but also say something along the line of that there hurt wont last forever and try and look toward a brighter day,as it will happen eventually.
again im so sorry .

First i am so sorry for your lost i think u should write
something like
"A ball of sunshine was here-
and it seemed as a second has gone that she is not but she is in a better place now in the heaven above"

Just let them know they are in your prayers. Don't get all emotional cause there is enough emotion going on already. Sorry for your loss. Mo.
