the best desser I ever had was a regular brownie mix that I baked I then went to the cabinet for the frosting only to find out that my daughter had eaten it with grahm crackers well I then had to become creative and all I had was a package of andes mints . so I laid them on the top of my hot brownies and let them melt and it was delicous because the choclate melted like a regular can of frosting would have and the tase of choclate and mint was delightfull I even had specks of green from the mint . now I dress up my brownies by useing different flavors of the andes mints . any brownie recipe will do

Mix together:
3 C crushed cornflakes
1 C Parmesan cheese
Spray cookie sheet. Cover with foil. Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Easy Chicken & Dumplings
1-2 lbs of chicken
Boil chicken until done (keep liquid level above half full). Once chicken is done clean it off the bones and remove any skin or fat. Return shredded meat to medium boil. Add three or four bouillon cubes. Use bisquick mix. Follow the directions for dumpling mixture. Drop dumplings in with a mild boil. Do not stir. Add salt and pepper. ready to serve.

Im not much on deserts but both of these recipes are easy and very good!

I will give you the names of 3 restaurnts, where I have had the best meals ever:
1. Pandeli, in Constantinople (Istanbul) and Athens
2. Oliva nera in Venice
3. Pescamare in Syracuse, Sicily

They also are in marvellous settings. Don't miss them if you travel to one of these cities.

Go to Allrecipes.com or KopyKat recipes.com. The Kopykat websites has recipes from different restaurants. Some of the places charge for recipes, but I think that you'll be able to find what your looking for.

this is very good..

Snowball Cake

3 envelopes Lucky Whip (2 for inside cake, one for top) (or 6 cups cool whip)
1 (20oz) can crushed pineapple
Juice of one lemon
1 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 large angel food cake
2 TBSP. unflavored gelatin
4 TBSP. cold water
1 bag shredded coconut (optional)
maraschino cherries (optional)

Soften gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add sugar, lemon juice and pineapple including juice. Chill until partially firm.

Whip 2 of the envelopes of Lucky Whip (or use 4 cups cool whip) according to the directions on the package. Fold into gelatin mixture.

Line a 13” X 9” X 2” cake pan with wax paper. Cut or break cake into small pieces. Place alternate layers of cake and gelatin mixture in pan until all is used. Chill overnight.

Next morning, prepare the last envelope of Lucky Whip (or use 2 cups cool whip) and spread over the top of cake. Sprinkle with coconut and garnish with marashino cherries. Refrigerate until served..

***Option- you can also divide the coconut in half and color half of it green and half of it red for Christmas and sprinkle it on the cake that way. With the red and/or green marachino cherries garnish or with sugar silver balls (sprinkles)
