Hey, I was wondering why is Mecca considered to be so holy? Like when people pray multiple times a day, they have to face the direction where Mecca is, why is it important? And what is there in Mecca, I don't know what you call it, but the black 'box' everyone says in a derogatory way, what is that? I'm just curious

Mecca is considered holy because it contains the holy house of Allah which is called the Keaaba which was built by Abraham
It is believed that it is the spot where Adam made his first prostration thanking God for accepting his repentance and forgiving his sin.
You had a legitimate question and as I Muslim I was NOT offended by it.
God bless

Mecca (once called Bacca), was where Adam built the first "house of prayer" for God. The location is where the Ka'ba (what you are calling the "black box") stands today. What makes it black is the beautiful embroidered cloth casing that covers it today, which is replaced yearly with a new one.
Abraham and his son Ismail raised the foundation and built a wall around the enclosure.
The Arab Pagans before the time of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) worshiped idols and stone gods around the Ka'ba. They even put some inside it too. The leading Meccan tribe Quraish raised the walls and put a roof over it. Unfortunately, it, along with the city, became a part of their caravan route worship center where all sorts of gods were erected and worshiped.
God decided that it was time to clean-up and purify the area. He sent his messenger to renew His message and honor the place where mankind first worshiped God, and continue to do so till today.
Muslims face Mecca when they pray because it is the direction of the holy Ka'ba. In fact, in Mecca, if you see some of the pictures of the Haram-al-Sherif (Holy Mosque in Mecca), you will see people praying in concentric circles around the Ka'ba.
It's important to understand that Muslims don't pray to the Ka'ba, or to any stone or inanimate object. Not even the so-called "soul" that people claim exists in the stone. Only God, the Creator of the Universe and all that is in existence, is worthy of worship in Islam.

The big black box is said to be the home of ALLAH. ALLAH doesn't live there of course but it's called the Qibla. Mecca is important because it's one of three holy cities and it's where Prophet Muahmmed(PBUH*) was born. The three holy cities are Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. We can't get into Jerusalem because the Zionists Jews won't let us in our mosque. However we do control our holy city there. Jerusalem is important because it is said that is where Prophet Muhammed(PBUH*) ascended into Jinnah. Medina is holy because of the King welcomed the Prophet(PBUH*) and his followers when they were forced to flee Mecca. The Qibla was starting to be built by Prophet Ibrahim(PBUH*) before he died. Then the Prophet Muhammed(PBUH*) destroyed all the idols inside there when he conquered Mecca and rebuilt the Qibla.

1- the first house appointed for men is Ka'ba in Mecca , it was built by Adam (pbuh) .. and it lays just opposite to the "frequented house" in the 7th heaven .. which angels circumambulate it
[3:96] The first house (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:
the Kaba was rebuilt by Abraham and Ishmael his son
[2:127] and remember Abraham and Ismail raised the foundations of the house (with this prayer): our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: for thou art the all hearing, the all knowing.

First of all asking why do they face towards Kaaba...cuz its the faith. Its just like considering a monkey a god.
Secondly, that Black stone isn't worshiped, its only considered to be reverent cuz of historical reasons..

That's really cute! You don't know what you call it, so you use a derogatory term? "Oh, I know everyone calls it a "black box"."
Well, I don't know if it's true or not, but everyone says that the Romans told Jesus to put his feet together because they only had one nail. I'm just curious. Is that true?

when you talk to someone you look them in the eyes, not in the nose. I guess it's the same thing, if you're going to pray to mecca, why not pray to it?
