Set aside the Bible and consider other issues of what make it or any church a true religion. They:
Believe in obeying the law, even the inconvenient ones, such as speed limits when late for work;
Believe in paying taxes, even though there are many ways they could avoid them, as many religions do;
Believe in keeping their word, such as to the IRS that they will not promote politics in the church, and they actually mean it;
Teache their youth that waiting until marriage is preferable to using protection, and for the most part, the youths actually believe it....As a result, they have the lowest rates of out-of-wedlock births and STDs....Yes, there is the occasional ones who would rather have their fun now than wait, but there are far more who choose to wait;
Treat their youth with respect, not just "do what you're told!";
Teache their youths side by side with the adults, the Bible as a whole, and not just Bible stories....The very young may not understand what they are being taught, but by the time you reach the age of understanding, they have a good basic knowledge of the scriptures;
Don’t allow their congregations to get so large that the individual gets lost in the crowd and since everyone is taught the same, it is easy to start a new congregation, with a set of elders;
Have members who know all other members, whether in their congregation, their city, or their county....When Katrina happened, they made sure everyone living in New Orleans could be found in Texas, with every individual accounted for;
Believe their Kingdom Halls should compliment a neighborhood, and not overwhelm it, so they are small and don’t include a lot of expensive decorative features....Each Hall can hold up to four congregations;
Encourage all their members to read the whole Bible and submit their thoughts to see whether the religion could be following God’s Word better...for 50 years they used the King James before the NWT;
Don’t pay or elect leading members or governing board....a fisherman or a carpenter can end up on the Governing Board of the Society.
Can have every member, over the age of 12 answer the following question without just referring to a secular holiday in May:
WHAT DAY DO YOU OBSERVE THE MEMORIAL ON?

There is no consensus among researchers as to the best methodology for determining the religiosity profile of the world's population. A number of fundamental aspects are unresolved:
Whether to count "historically predominant religious culture[s]"
Whether to count only those who actively "practice" a particular religion
Whether to count based on a concept of "adherence"
Whether to count only those who expressly self-identify with a particular denomination
Whether to count only adults, or to include children as well (abuse and the escape from religion)
Whether to rely only on official government-provided statistics
Whether to use multiple sources and ranges or single "best source(s)"

It's great that you want to convert to Islam, but before you do, I seriously recommend that you investigate Baha'u'llah and the Baha'i Faith.
All religions are true and divine in origin, but the Baha'i Faith is the Revelation of God for this day and age.

All religions come from the same God, but God's revelation to mankind is progressive. In every age, God reveals greater truths and gives laws and teachings suitable for that time and age.
The Revelation of God for today is the Baha'i Faith and Baha'u'llah is the Promised One of all religions. Baha'u'llah is the Return of Christ in the Glory of the Father, whose advent was promised in the Bible and Qur'an. Baha'u'llah wrote: "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens."

Islam is the religion of ALLAH. Therefore it is the true religion. Just say the Shada. La ilaha illa ALLAH, Muhammedur rasoolu ALLAH. I testify that there is no God but ALLAH and I testify that Muahmmed(PBUH*) is his slave and messenger. You have to believe it in your heart otherwise it's not valid. Say the Shadah in Arabic and then in English. Then you are Muslim. If you are a male you need to get circumcised. And Muslims aren't terrorists.

No, the Bible does NOT mention the Qur'an.
There may have been a total of 1,000 people who said they were Christians who joined Islam over the 7 years you mention. But that doesn't mean they even knew God at all.
Islam is a relgion of law. It does not teach of God's love and plan to save all who call upon Him. It only makes people feel guilty and angry enough to kill others.

Buy a Koran, if you want to be a Muslim.
It's up to you, there's plenty of Eastern Religions out there which can be helpful if you take a look at them, like Buddhism

If I told you the Organization that the Almighty God is using today to warn people about the coming destruction, you no doubt would not believe it, it's up to you to search in the Bible to find out if religion is teaching the truth.
This is how you tell "false from truth"
What is false religion?
Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?
The fault lies, not with all religion, but with “false” religion.
False Religion...MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?
False Religion...SPREADS FALSE DOCTRINE: Most religions teach that the soul or spirit is some invisible part of a human that survives the death of the physical body. However, the Bible teaches a different doctrine. “The soul that is sinning, it itself will die.” Ezekiel 18:4 Jesus taught that the dead will be resurrected, an unnecessary action if humans had an immortal soul. Does your religion teach that the soul does not die?
False Religion...TOLERATES IMMORAL SEX: Church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy. What, though, does the Bible teach? It plainly states: “Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men.” 1 Cor. 6:9,10 Do you know of religions that condone immoral sex?
How to identify true religion.
True Religion...PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display “love among themselves.” Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.
True Religion...TRUSTS GOD'S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God's Word, the Bible
True Religion...STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to “love their wives as their own bodies,” helps wives to develop “deep respect for their husbands,” and teaches children to “be obedient to their parents.”
True Religion is available, search for it.
