yeah but the day you do finally die is today on whatever day that is.
i'm sure a lot of people take thier lives for granted, but i am not able to judge thier mentality. i am just thankful for every day that i am alive - regardless of what you want to call that day :)

There is no "guarantee" when I am going to die. I could die 60 years from now, I could die in three weeks, no one knows, and there is no way to guarantee the day (unless you are threatening to kill me tomorrow...) And I think I have wasted a small portion of my life reading this inane question, and taking the time to answer it.

Not true. Today is February 10; tomorrow is February 11, and there can be no guarantee that I will die on that specific day. But it is true that life should not be taken for granted.

Incorrect.Using the same logic,I am guaranteed to die today because the day it happens will always be today, not tomorrow

Sure is. And it also comes with an eternal warranty if you subscribed to die now. But wait! Be the first 100 persons to die today and you'll get to see your dead relatives first. So hurry. Act now. This package comes with a money back guarantee should you choose to come back all your funeral expenses will be returned to you promptly.

I take life for what it is, but if we took EVERYTHING for what it was, we would literally be vegetables. You take for granted breathing, for instance. If everyone recognized that, everyone would also seek to expand their knowledge to make the most of their brain. Literally. You also take vision for granted, or typing, or walking, or eating. Many hundreds of things happen that you think to be simple, but in fact are super complex chain reactions. Right now, as you read this, your brain is interpreting the words and letters as symbols. The silent speech, in other words, besides sign language. You see?
Everything you do (even thinking) is taken for granted.
Wouldn't that dictate that no matter what, you're taking life for granted anyways because of this?

Oh.. i'm very sorry on your loss =( i be conscious of the form you sense. somebody I knew from my formative years died a pair of days in the past. i did no longer fairly be conscious of her ok, and that i knew her for an rather short era, an prolonged long term in the past, even though it nonetheless hurts... i can not think of of something on the 2nd, yet as quickly as I do i'm going to edit.. good luck, my coronary heart's with you..

I'm fairly certain that the majority of people these days take their life for granted.

This just brings to light one of life's harsh realities, "No one is promised tomorrow!" So, go out and seize the day!
