I have a brother and sister that I have never meet. I know there names and I have tried to contact them before. My sister's name is Linda Jefferson and I know her mother lives in the lakeside area here in shreveport. I have meet her kids a while back and havent heard anything else since then I think that was back in 1992 when i meet her kids. I want to see them also and reunite with them. So they can meet their cousins I now have 5 kids. Also my brother Jamiel Jefferson I have tried to contact him before back in maybe 1991. His mother lived about 5 or 6 blocks down from where me and my dad lived. and i went by and i found out later that it was my brother who had told me not to come back there because there was no jamiel who lived there. He dont want to have anything to do with my dad, but I dont thinkhe should hold that against me. I love family and I am a big family person fust want to get to knwo them. I just want jamiel to know that I love him no matter how he feels about my dad and

that I am not trying to get him to come to terms with my dad but I do want to know him. I have 5 beautiful kids and i want them to get a chance to meet there family. I never got a chance to grow up knowing all of my people on my mothers side of the family and i regret it. My mother died when i was 6 years old and it has been me and my dad since then. I dont know what happen with my brother and my dad but PLEASE jamiel dont hold it against me. My dad is a good person in my eyes and I give him all respect. He told me to just give up and respect your wishes but I cant. My dad has been all that i have had for the past 21 years and he has been there for me. I cant change the way you feel about him But i do want to be apart of you and yur families life. I dont want anything from you nothing at all just a brother and sister relationship. I dont need anything either if thats what you are thinking my fam gives me all i want I am the baby of 10 children. and a little spoiled just want to no u.

yes you should. send a letter and explain to them that you just want a sister and brother relationship and nothing else. what could it hurt. family is everything and without family what have you got. go for it.

I have a brother that I didn't meet until he was 40 and I was 38. The years between then and now have been wonderful as we worked at getting to know each other and found out all the things we have in common. Do all you can to reunite.

Sure. Make the effort. Make some phone calls and let them know that you are interested in getting together. Don't just show up, that could be a little shocking. What do you have to lose? You could end up with some great family relationships. Good luck!
