Does anyone know where I can order the icing used in commercial bakeries like those in grocery stores?

Bakeries make their own icing. It's basically shortening & 10X sugar. But here's what you do, go to your favorite restaurant & ask the manager if he'll order some from one of his purveyors - Sysco or whoever. You'll probably have to order it by the case (6, #10 cans) & it'll be all the same kind (i.e. chocolate, cherry, butter cream...) or go to a bakery & ask'm if they'll sell you a gallon of icing.
