Would it be possible for Turkiye to play its dynamic role being a part of European union? What do you see in future?
Turkiye will be the only Muslim country among the European union countries and you know the racist nature and biased attitude of most of European countries. I came to know that European union again postponed the matter of Turkiye because of Cyprus issue and they demanded unfair relaxations for Greece on this matter!

European Union don't accept easily Turkiye. Also i don't think so they will accpet and my personel idea is i don't care about entering EU. Because of EU and Turkiye has different cultures and they will try to change some of our habits, rules etc. Our nation doesn't like this kind of controls by other nations.

We have to improve ourself with our ideas (non with import ideas). Of course we Europe has great examples to show us good way but we have to choice it, nobody can choice it for us.

As i said important thing is improve (about ideas, economy, culture, education etc.) of us, if we do it i don't care about EU. We are not belong to there, but it doesn't mean disconnect with Europe.

I don't want to be member of a racist union.

Most Turkish people I know are praying that we won't be accepted, Turkiye is a big enough country to stand on its own feet...
cos of increasing problems and sources of Europe they will need Turkiye in the future then I won't be surprised if they sign us in, but if they find another place to get what they need then no way they will not accept us...

No European country really never gained anything for being in it, so I am afraid Turkiye will gain nothing but loose a lot if accepted..

The point is that many European Union members don't want Turkey to join; the Cyprus issue is just the latest in a series of excuses they've made up. Even if Turkey accepts some compromises as far as Cyprus goes the European Union will come up with another hurdle for them - wait and see.

first of all, Turkiye should be commonplace into the european Union yet we do not actually have a good authorities. we've a frontrunner that tries to break the guidelines through allowing faith to conflict with authorities like allowing women folk to bypass to school with the hijab on. we are no longer in the region to affix. i do no longer want Turkiye to affix because all that isgoing to take position is that we will be bullied through the different international locations. we are ok basically the way we are.

I live in one of the most multicultural cities there is, Leicester UK, and I do not think there will be a problem because of race or religion...alot of my friends are muslim.

I think the dynamics lay in Turkeys political position and whether they can fulfil the requirements of the EU, also if the EU can justify the fact that three quarters of Turkey is classed as outside Europe in the east.

By the way Turkey is a beautiful country.

Turkey is not a European country, so why should it get to be part of the EU? If Turkey wants to join a union of some kind, it should start a Middle-East Union with countries that share a similar culture. The European Union is for European countries. It has nothing to do with racism.
