I think perhaps you need to start talking in terms of reality rather than nonsense like 'magic' and 'wishes'.
When we are all grown up, we talk about things like emotion... understanding.... feelings ....knowledge.... caring...and wisdom.
Love is a mystery....anyone who tells you they know something about it is a liar.
Forget magic...forget wishes...Dream if you want to but don't ever think your dreams will come true...just chase them and don't whine if they get away....they were still worth having!

the magic is you dont really need that much to be happy, the pressure to be like everybody else instead of yourself is not natural.
