Do women find receiving compliments from men a turn off at all?
Is it a good/great idea for men to give women compliments (if not regularly)

LIKE ALL THIS GIRLS ARE SAYING THEY LIKE IT BUT DONT DO IT!!! if youre a dude and you like someone and want that someone, dont do it! once you do, she'll think youre just one of the million guys who complemented her. so if you say something different like, oh you have a nice hair, is it real? (just an example) she'll think that youre different and not interested in her and she'll think of you as a challenge. if she's fishing for compliments, tell her "are you fishing for compliments? cause i only give compliments whe you lease expect it."

It can be suffocating. Women can sense the attraction by your body language alone. Most people feel the responsibility to return a compliment when they receive one. Small ones here and there are great but don't go overboard and get cheesey. If I can speak for the ladies I'd say we rather romance on a whim and to be left desiring more that you are so willing to put out there. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and then next time,what's left.

I think myself, compliments are great i love to get them and give them. I don't know if i would go as for as to say is it a turn on to get a compliment,however; its nice to have one. A compliment may lead to a smile, and the smile may be a way to some ones heart. But i wouldnt over do it, it may look like you may have a hidden ajenda. a compliment followed by a pick up line.. kid of cheesy,right ladies?

Of course, we like it, IF they're sincere. We can tell when you're just trying to flatter us.
Most people are not good a receiving compliments. We should all work on that. But isn't it what you remember at the end of the day?

Yes, but in moderation. It needs to seem sincere. If we are all dressed up then by all means compliment away. However if we are just in workout pants and a t-shirt no need to go on and on about how stunning we are. Because then when we do get all dolled up it wont' mean as much.

I have always loved receiving compliments from men. It lets me know that they realize certain things about me. (Even the little things) Also, with the way society is, women have low self-esteem so when men compliment them it allows their self-esteem to be raised.

It's always nice to receive a compliment from someone you care about. Absolutely. Just don't go overboard and smother them with compliments, then it starts to border on obsessive.......LOL!

of course we love to hear how nice we look or what a nice truck i drive or even about my snow mobile
as you can tell i am a tom boy type but when i do play the part of girly girl i love to hear compliments
