I have naturally straight, blonde hair, but last July I decided to try a perm. Now it doesn't look very good because it's growing out so I either have to straighten it or use a curling iron everyday. Then I had never dyed my hair, so I used temporary dye in december to make it brown, and it was supposed to wash out, but it never completely did. Anyways, now it's really damaged and I don't know what to do with it besides just letting it grow out. Please help me!

You should start protecting it when you straighten it with a straightening balm or smoother. Deep condition once a week, make sure even if you're grwoing it out you still get it trimmed, that will make it a lot healthier and actually grow faster. Plus you can take folic acid. That makes your hair and nails stronger, grow faster, and your hair shinier.
(That's why they say pregnant women always have better hair, the folic acid in their prenatal vitamins!)

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and just get it cut. If it is extremely damaged, it is the only way to fix it. The chemicals in perms and dyes can be very damaging, however on the flip side, if your dye has washed out it leaves your hair in worse shape because it loses that extra coating which keeps the hair follicles smooth. You can dye it again to coat it, which will temporarily make it look better, but it is just a short fix solution. I would say to get the damaged part cut off and start using a shampoo and conditioner for extremely damaged hair. You may have to pay a little more money to get a good quality shampoo and conditioner, but it will be worth it in the end. Nexus, has probably the best line that I have found. Check in a beauty salon. Allot of them carry it. Hope that helps.

Start with getting all the split ends out this will allow it two grow better and then get a GOOD SHAMPOO with the perm and then the coloring you now have a lot of dead ends they need to go I know I lost half my hair length this past month for the same reasons I wasn't real happy at first but within a couple of days I really realized how much healthier it looked I can wait till it grows back

Go to a professional stylist who is good at color and she can color correct that part. She may also be able to cut your hair in a way that makes the grow-out of the perm look better until it is completely gone.

i had a bad experience with a perm too a few years ago.
now its all grown out, but during that time i did hot oil treatments and deep conditioning on a weekly basis.
i also coverd it in mayonaise for 20 min. 3 times a week. it sound weird but i promise you, it helped.
you should also avoid useing hot watter when washing your hair and follow with a cold watter rinse after you condition.
some people say that apple cider vinigar also helps with your damaged ends.

Use a shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair,
Or you can get hair masks for damaged hair,
Also this may sound wierd but to bring out the natural highlights in your hair put camomile flowers in bioling water and leave to cool and use it as a final rinse for your hair.
Also a good conditioner for your hair is egg whites.. i no weird again but these do work!
Anway heres a useful website;

Good Luck!

get your hair cut off at least the damaged parts..Do treatments like conditioning and stuff...don't straighten your hair no more or curl it but if you have to like i do use heat protectant and really good conditioner like Garnier Fructis it makes your hair really soft and healthy...Also you can try using Pantene time renewal conditioner this will make your damaged hair healthy really fast!

Now it's time to go to hairdresser. I'm sure they could help. If you don't want to go you can do a lot of things with your hair. Buy anything you can put on your hair, they have so many things now. Shiny, color full..... try put together in ponytail, get a nice earring.....
find out something.
