Don't do it! I just did it myself, and I regret it! I also have blue eyes, fair skin and had really nice blonde hair with natural highlights, but I thought it would be fun to change it up a little. I used temporary hair dye so that it would wash out in about a month if I didn't like it, but it never washed out all the way! It's been a couple months since I dyed it so now it's a really wierd dull color. Besides that it dried my hair out so it's pretty damaged. And when I first dyed it (maybe it was just the shade I used), it made me look even paler than I am - it just didn't look as good! Anyways, unless you're dead set on it, I would definitely not do it. And if you do, go to a salon and get someone who knows what they're doing to help you. It really is a good thing to be a blonde!!

Well I have pale skin, dark hair and light blue eyes. People always complement me on my eyes because they stand out. I don't really get people saying I'm too pale. Loads of natural blondes look better with dark hair, look at Abbie Titmuss, makes her features stand out I think. Having natural blonde hair is rare though, loads of women try to be like you. But you can always change it back, it won't be forever if you don't like it. By the way who is considered the most beautiful woman in the world all the Time, Angelina Jolie, I'm sure many men wouldn't say blondes are sexier to her! Loads of men prefer brunettes.

If your natural hair is light, keep your blonde hair because only people with naturally dark hair and fair skin look good. Plae skin and blonde go together, you can only get away with dark hair and pale skin if you are good looking (you decide) enough to carry it off.

Tan skin looks better with darker hair.

Keep with your natural colour roughy and you can't go wrong.
Many blonde women think they get more attention from men when they are blonde and less when brown so they always end up going back to blonde (like that is the only important thing when considereing hair colour!)

Depends what suits you, dark hair on Elizabeth Taylor and Vivien Leigh is one thing but many darker haired women dye it blonde and they look terrible, they only care what men think, but if you have naturally fair hair and have doubts keep it that way.

I'm a blonde too. Tried the brown, tried red, tried every color except for black. Some fair skinned people can pull off brunette. Others can't. For me it didn't do justice. Try a temporary dye which will wash out in a few weeks. If you like it, go for permanent.

precisely! thank you!!! I too am a redhead and rattling pleased with it!yet I completely am no longer getting the blonde vs brunette element. you will think of we would get all the attention cuz purple is basically so unique, and assorted. and definitely, i examine in Cosmo a protracted time in the past, that blondes are the angelic, candy ones. brunettes are the girls around the corner, clever ones. and redheads are the tempered intercourse kittens. ( and what guy would not like that!?!?) And yea, i'm getting complimented alot on my hair, yet such as you, its previous women and youthful girls. yet with adult adult males its the two they prefer it, or they definitely hate it. individually, i would not choose my hair any different way. I recommend, I attempt out diverse hair hues, yet on the top of the day, i admire my purple hair.

Why don't you find a place that sells wigs and go try on a few. I had blonde hair (colored) so many years, went dark and almost immediately went back to blonde. It is difficult getting used to looking at yourself with darker hair and don't forget you will need new makeup and even your favorite shirts and sweaters will look completely different to you. If you decide to dye, go to a color specialist and start with a temporary color or a very light brown.

Don't do it!! I did it and hated it. I'm fair, green eyes, blonde. I went to a hairdresser and had brown added to my hair, so i just had some blond left that looked like I had brown hair with blond highlights. They call it reverse highlights or lowlights when they add darker color to lighter hair. I looked bad and no matter what I did to my make up, or how I wore my hair. I looked weird. Back to blond now and went through hell to get here.

I vote NO!

I have basically the same skin coloring. Medium brown with some light highlights will work. Dark brunette won't work very well.

Simple answer - No - Reason: it would make you look ill. If you did it you would look cheap. Sorry but I've seen girls/women go darker before and they always look awful to me. You need to find a colour slightly richer than your own hair colour, go for a richer blonde with whatever that colour is they put in to give golden highlight tones.

Why not go in between and have Strawberry blonde hair. Dark blonde with a tint of red.
