Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

Yes you can get plastic surgery - but it depends on what it's for. If you are active duty you will have to talk to your doctor into getting it approved.

If you want to pay out of pocket for it you will need to go to your commanding officer and tell him/her what's going on. You will have to put in for vacation time - enough for both the surgery and recovery.

Depending on what your job is and where you are stationed they may say that you can't have it right now - maybe at a later date.

Because it's considered and invasive surgery they do have the right to turn you down. They need military personel able to do their jobs and go to war at a moments notice.

You may have more of a chance if you are over weight for your height and weight class. It just depends. Talk to your doctor first to see how likely it is that you will be able to get it done.

In response to the Cosmetic part....well, there have been some Soldiers getting boob implants to help with their esteme *sp* issues! I kid you not! But to answer the question, I would check with Regulations on the tummy tuck thing....each Branch has it's own regarding Cosmetic Surgery. Then, speak to your Doctor and get the facts from him/her....

My friend is an AF dependent and she got a tummy tuck. She did have to pay for the anesthesia which was about $2,000.

I am prior military and if its for just cosmetic purposes I can assure you that this will not likely be covered and you will have to pay for this out of pocket. I use to work with this kind of stuff and it never got approved. Sorry to break the news to you. I wish you the best.

Don't blame the three kids. First they didn't vote to be there. Second, I know a lot of very attractive women that look even better after 3, 4 and yes even 5 kids. All it takes is a little self care during pregnancy and a little exercise after they are born. Garbage in, garbage on your belly.
