We went to a dance last night and me and him are not going out but he told me he was mad at me because i was hanging on some of my guy friends and dancing with them but on the slow dances i danced with him!

tell him to chill out. if theyre your friends he has nothing to worry about. if he doesnt already know your friends he's probabaly a little jealous so if he doesnt already know them introduce him to them tell him to get to know em better. i say this because the same thing happened to one of my friends. after that he seemed to get along much better now and he says hes ok now so im pretty happy hope i helped have a good time! ^_^

There's two part to this question and I'll answer the first which I believe you have answered already. He doesn't move a step further therefore he doesn't move a step further (with you) - there's your ans. On the second one, he expressed his feelings so since you do care about what he said you need to do the same and find out what he's really trying to say ( ask him) once you know you can make a choice and move on.

He is probably just shy and unsure how you feel about him. Give him some sort of signal that you like him, assuming that you do. I suggest something more direct. As a guy myself sometimes the signals women send out are obvious to them or other girls, but not to us guys, that is why I say do something more direct that leaves no room for interpretation.
Try asking him out on a date, that's pretty direct. I know girls like to be the ones who are "chased" but sometimes us guys just need a nudge to get running.

I am not quite sure what one has to do with the other but if he tells you he cares that alone is not a prerequisite for any future steps,but be careful that you do not push too hard and give him room to do what he believes that is if you care that much

thats just retarded. he is mad cuz he thinks ur flirting with them. u can dance with ur guy friends if u want to it doesn't mean anything. he may get over it but if he does it often i wouldn't recommend him cuz u may not have any guy friends then
