actually it depends on if a person looks right with short hair or long hair. i had a friend with long hair and it didnt suite her but when she cut it her features were showing more and she looked cute because she style it

for girls i think long hair at least half way to your back because you can do more hair styles and on guys short hair because i think they look better when you can see their faces
