Chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs) are found in the coolant of refrigerators.CFCs are the main cause of the destruction of the ozone layer

The ozone layer is created when the solar winds collide with the earth's magnetic field . This happens very high in the atmosphere and CFC will not get there.

They don't use CFC in refrigerators anymore. Those were affecting it.
