yes, I did at one stage. The people were really nice. Still friends with some of them but I just don't share their beliefs.

I last went to a church for someone's funeral two years ago. That was a really high affair, bells and smells and goodness knows what. I can't remember when before that I attended a service. But I go INTO churches all the time. They're interesting and beautiful places. I admire the dedication that went into their construction. We don't think we'll get struck down if we set foot into a church building, you know.

I've heard of some who go to blend in and I've heard of a few atheist clergymen.

Me personally, not regularly. I get more than enough religion from my elected officials, extra-governmental churchin' would almost be redundant.

Last time I went was when mom asked me to go to an Easter service several years ago at her parents church so she wouldn't be the only non-hillbilly baptist in the room. Amazing how much talk of homosexuals, liberals, and abortion doctors was squeezed into sermons I expected to be about the resurrection and ascension myth.

I've had to before, because I often spend the night at the house of a friend who goes to church.

No that would be a waste of time.
I could as if Christians ever think but I would get the same answer from them.

I haven't been to church since I was ten. And I only went because my parents dragged me there.

As with Zero Cool I used to, for about the same period.
(done my time in the choir, and even preached a few times!)

Not now.

Why would we waste our time?
Or our money?
Heck I could toss a $10.00 dollar bill out the window of my car and it would probably wind up helping more people than if I were to put it in some con-man's collection plate.

I've tried it, then one Christmas Eve I just couldn't bring myself to hug the person on my right and I thought...hmmm! I think I'm through with this.
