Many headaches are caused by dehydration. I would suggest that you make sure you drink enough water during the day to keep yourself hydrated. The minute you feel a headache coming on you should drink water. You will be suprised at the results.
Also, if you drink or eat foods with artificial sweetners I would suggest you cut down on them. Many artificial sweetners cause dehydration which causes--you guessed it--headaches.

So you're anti aspirin, Tylenol, Motrin, Excedrin? You might use a ice pack on your head, you might take a hot shower aimed at your head...one causes the blood vessels to dilate the other causes them to constrict. Also, you might want to ask yourself why you have the headache in the first place. It could be a warning sign of some serious problem you are not aware of....be careful treating an undiagnosed problem.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

This may sound silly but it works I know because I use it. Willow stems, chew themand swallow the juices they alleviate minor aches and pains and it's natcotic free also free to pick. Get them from Weeping Willow trees or Swamp Willow trees. Use the bark for fevers, get some bark and boil itdown in water, add cold tap water to the pan. Dip in a rag and place on forehead within 15 minutes the fever is gone.

Well it probably won't fix it forever, but for a temp. fix try massage. You could massage your own neck and shoulder muscles. Your headache could be the cause of tight muscles which are pinching nerves. So massage from your shoulders all the way up your neck and even head. This even works in the shower since your muscles will be more relaxed.
Good Luck!!!
