I'm conducting a "field" survey for marketing research. My sister approached me about starting a business; she finances it and I come up with the "product". However, she is looking at focusing on a perticular market. In order to best suit the needs of consumers, I'm posting this question in hopes of receiving constructive feedback.

If you are a mother of a child from birth to age 5 years, I'd like to know what service would you like to see avalible to you and your child. Please include you location and what class you fall in (lower, middle, upper). This will hopefully help us to come up with an idea that will benefit all social classes. All ideas will be looked at and considered, serious/realistic ideas only please. Thank you for you time, creative mind, and feedback.

Please, no inventions. We are gearing more towards a business idea.

In response to Mahaa, this is a survey of what the people are wanting to see available. We do have our own ideas, however, we are not going to be the consumers. . ."you" are. We'd like to hear feedback as to what the people need. This is a tool most sucessful large and small company owners do in order to better serve the clients.

I think you should have a center for parents to bring their kids to once a week so they can have a date night. Where everyone is certified. Our closest family is over an hour away, and I dont want some teen watching my infant boys. We live in Northampton Pa and are somewhere between upper and middle class.

Um, don't you think we are all looking for the next big money maker or business idea? No offense, seriously, but if you don't have any ideas for your business PLEASE reconsider the idea. I am a small business owner myself and it is a ton of hard work. Without a good, solid service or quality product to sell to the people I think your sister's money can be better invested in other areas, like real estate for example. And be wary, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Best wishes.

I'm upper middle class in the DFW area and would have loved a cloth diapering service. I cloth diaper now, but I didn't when my child was a newborn. I probably would have if there had been a service.
