China does not have to attack America to take it over. If it called the debt america owes to it, America would be bankrupt in a heartbeat.
China also has 10 times the cash reserve the USA does.
Good luck thinking ICBM's are going to protect you.

Not in our lives. China really has no reason to attack the US. I mean they get money from us, they don't have to worry about supporting this huge country. China is having enough issues why would they want to increase the population and trouble with bringing the US under attack.

They and Russia are just waiting for Bush to go one step too far and nuke Iran...that will give them the "moral imperative" to eliminate the USA.
China will destroy the US command and control satellites (which they showed they can do) and Russia will launch half of its 1500 nukes...problem solved.
China and Russia are not stupid...they can see that Bush is trying to control the worlds oil and thus control their economies. The "cold" war is white hot right now and is about to come to a head.

Aside from some border skirmishes and a feudal period before unification from ancient times long past, history has proven that China have never and will never invade anyone.
In fact, I think they are in danger from the gun-slinging cowboys.

provided we are still here, laser weapons not having melted
the polar ice caps, they will probably get along with us
peacefully for many years. they will expand into space
and the future of space will be much like the future
of the new world was under the colonies and then the
revolutions bringing about independence. i don't think
china will attack us. but i am more worried about us, attacking
china. so many americans want to be the only game in
town.

i dont think that China will attack. the reson is that they depend on the U.S. they export alot of stuff to the U.S and if they start a war then the U.S will put inbargoes on them and they will lose a lot of money

They just did. But not in a military sense. They already started with Walmart and IBM. Decades from now, America will become purely a nation of consumers, with all its factories unable to survive because of American product's inability to compete with low prices in the global market. All manufactured goods from toothpaste to the clothes you wear will be Chinese.
