Do you mean "Can you get one automatically, just by paying the fee, 'cause you are already licenced by the State of Michigan?" I doubt it - I hope not, too!

Michigan and Florida have very different climates. The requirements in both places are very different, and a building that works well in one location may quickly fail in another. The practices you use in Michigan may serve you well for 90% of the tasks you'd need for a house in Florida, but that last 10% could cost you a bunch of money to tear out and redo - or even more, if the home owner finds out you did something wrong, and you got sued.

For example - Florida has a lot or problems with bugs. What do you need to do to protect the house from termites and other infestations? What's the best roofing to use that will stand up to hurricane force? I know, MI has tornadoes - but they don't cover the same huge area as a hurricane, and the odds of a house in Florida getting hit by a hurricane are probably a lot higher than a house in MI getting hit by a tornado.

I may be wrong, but somehow I doubt it.
