What the **** do you think?

YES they can if you don't give them their damn food they'll come after you. They are meat eaters, so don't be giving them some stupid *** salad mix stuff. they need meat.

It depends what you mean by big. If you a mean a fat or chubby domesticated cat then no. But if you mean lions and tigers (and other wild cats) then yes.
One problem is, they may kill a humans but they do not necessarily want to eat us because humans tend to have salty flesh compared to antelopes and their normal / desired food from the wild.
In Ancient Rome, there was something called Beast Fighting where they would let lions, tigers, leopards and other wild cats into the arena with a bunch of prisoners. The audience used to enjoy watching the cats kill and eat the prisoners. But the beast keeper had to train the cats to like human flesh before the actual show by forcing them to eat it for many months before hand so they started to like it and get used to it.
But since no - one traines wild cats to eat humans anymore, they probably won't eat you but they will pose a threat to you in term of safety.

depends on how big the cat is. If you're talking something like a lion or tiger, mountain lion something like that, yes!
your average house cat would only eat you if you died and he was left with no food for a long period of time with your dead body laying there, they don't want to starve.

there's been stories of regular sized domestic cats gnawing on people. like these old ladies who have 50 cats -- well one story was -- the old lady died and there was no one to feed all her cats, so the cats got hungry and started eating on her (i don't blame them -- they were hungry) and finally someone discovered all this when they hadn't heard from the lady in weeks/months.

Do you mean a mountain lion, for example, or a domestic cat?

A domestic cat can not attack and kill and then eat a human, especially not a human who can control his body.

Now a mountain lion, sure he can ... :-)

Umm leapards, lions, cheetahs, tigers, panthers, ect. could kill a human with one hit withtheir giant paws, and obviously eat them, but I doubt they would a person.

i think they can but not intentionally. probably just because their bodies are too big and can come in contact with a person a become aggressive and kill that human. and later eat them but stilll not intentionally.
