So we've both decided we like each other, and he is even talking about how he has always like me and can see us together forever and all that wonderful stuff that should make me fall for him, which I have done.
Problem: we live 3 hours away and neither of us is really keen on relocating. I can't because my life is here, and he can't because his life is there.
So, yea, all in all I'm guessing this is on the road to ruin, but I can stop wanting him! It sucks.
Moving on doesn't work, because he keeps popping back into my life and reminding me how much I like him.
Please help....I'm going insane.

I'm in a long distance relationship right now, and I guess I look at things differently. I know when I'm done school, either my boyfriend or I will have to move. More than likely it will be me since he works for the state and pretty much has to go where he is needed. On the other hand, with a degree in my field,(nursing), I can get a job almost anywhere. Why is relocation for one of you out of the question?
I know relocating will be hard, but if we are to be together, it will have to happen. If not, there's truly no point in being together.
I think you both need to talk and see if either of you could relocate or maybe you could both move to someplace new to be together.

As much as neither one of you may not like it, one of you needs to make a sacrifice; after all, a relationship that is worthwhile to both involved is worth the change. Besides, eventually one would anyway if the relationship is to go any further. I would talk to your significant other and figure out what each person wants and where you are both willing to meet in the middle. Also, there is a book called The five love languages that can help in the whole communication process. If neither one is willing to conceed to change, then losses must be cut, however painful the experience. One cannot live a double life even if they want to. Hope that helps and good luck.

well three hours is your crazy long distance..wow. okay well the only way that long distance relationships work is if one person decides that being closer and having a real relationship is the most important. maybe you should be friends because its going to be hard on both of yall if you have to travel to be together all the time.

Both of you should move..
but not a drastic move..maybe instead of being 3 hrs away..both of you should move 1.5 hrs from where u are now..that way you're together, but not throwing out your life
thats if u really love eachother

you both should either commit and move half way towards each other and deal with the hour and 1/2 back towards your home towns or call it quits..

3 hrs away is nothing. how about 4000 miles away. Now that is a problem. She is that far away from me.
